The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) will still not be lenient with misbehaving teams this season. The Organisation has placed a maximum of E100 000 for teams that caused the abandonment of the match during the 2023/24 season. This is according to article 14:14 of the new season rules and regulations.
The culprit will further forfeit the match plus three points and three goals. The PLE was last season rocked by spades of violent incidents at Mavuso Sports Centre where crowd pullers Mbabane Swallows and Mbabane Highlanders were part of the culprits on separate cases.

Other offenders included Young Buffaloes, Moneni Pirates and Denver Sundowns, among others. National First Division teams have not been spared from the tight article as offenders from the second-tier league will pay a maximum of E60 000for the offence. The elite football organisation further stated that entrance for the new Season will remain at E40 for a double header and E30 for a single header.

The league will officially kick off on Saturday afternoon with a Y’ello activation double header featuring crowd pullers Manzini Wanderers and Mbabane Swallows at the King Sobhuza II stadium who will be visiting Nsingizini Hotspurs and Rangers respectively.
