Ticket sales for the MTN Bushfire festival have witnessed a record-breaking launch, with over 25% of the festival’s tickets already sold online and through the MTN MoMo WhatsApp Marketplace.
This surge in ticket sales reflects the growing anticipation for the festival, which is set to celebrate its 18th edition from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at House On Fire in Malkerns.
The MTN Bushfire festival, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse lineup of artists from across the globe, typically sells out a month before the event. However, this year’s ticket sales are moving at an unprecedented pace, prompting organizers to encourage fans to secure their tickets as soon as possible.
The excitement surrounding this year’s festival is huge and the demand for tickets has already surpassed that of previous years.

As part of its commitment to ensuring local access to this proudly Eswatini festival, MTN Eswatini has partnered with Bushfire to provide exclusive offers for Eswatini residents.
While the online Golden Lounge tickets have transitioned to Phase 2 pricing, local attendees still can secure Phase 1 Golden Lounge tickets at a special, discounted rate through the MTN MoMo WhatsApp Marketplace.
The launch of ticket sales saw an impressive turnout, with over 5,200 users accessing the website on the day of the launch. However, such high traffic resulted in some users experiencing delays in accessing the site, leading to a few frustrations among hopeful festivalgoers.
The MTN Bushfire team has acknowledged these challenges and thanked attendees for their patience during the process.
Bongani Dlamini, the Sales and Marketing Manager for MTN Bushfire, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming excitement surrounding the festival. “Thank you, MTN Bushfire family! We’re thrilled by the overwhelming excitement for MTN Bushfire 2025 tickets.
