In a significant announcement aimed at boosting agricultural productivity and employment, the EWADE (Eswatini Water Agricultural Development Enterprise) has projected an impressive sales target of E51,728,460.00 for the upcoming 2024/25 financial year.
This ambitious projection is expected to generate approximately 3,873 jobs across the four regions of Eswatini, heralding a time of opportunity for the local workforce.
During a press conference on Friday, EWADE’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Nyamane, revealed that the organization is not only aiming for growth in sales but is also making strides in supporting local farmers. Currently, 237 farmers are participating in the Hamba Ubuye Scheme, which focuses on enhancing agricultural practices and output.
