This delegation has been present in New York for the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and associated side meetings. During a high-level meeting with the American Jewish Committee in New York, Prime Minister Dlamini extended an invitation to Jewish investors, encouraging them to explore opportunities within the Kingdom.
He highlighted Eswatini’s position as a gateway to Africa’s expansive market of 1.4 billion people. By emphasizing trade agreements like the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), Dlamini positioned Eswatini as an attractive destination for investors seeking access to international markets.
The Prime Minister underscored Eswatini’s commitment to sectors vital for economic growth, including energy, manufacturing, mining, technology, and tourism.
“We are focused on energy security.
hile 100% of our energy generation is renewable, it currently meets only 30% of the nation’s energy requirements,” he stated, highlighting the urgent need to boost energy production to facilitate industrial growth.
The government’s goal of enhancing its energy capacity is part of a broader economic growth strategy aimed at tackling issues such as unemployment, poverty, and social challenges, including gender-based violence.

“We are in search of partners and investors to significantly elevate our economy. These challenges result from limited buying power due to unemployment, and strategic investments can make a difference,” Dlamini elaborated.
The American Jewish Committee expressed a desire to strengthen ties with Eswatini, particularly in the agri-tech and renewable energy sectors, and invited Eswatini officials to visit Israel for project exchanges.
